NetApp's Leonard Iventosch Recognized as Channel Chief by CMP Channel's CRN for Fourth Year

Sunnyvale, Calif. - February 25, 2008 -- NetApp (NASDAQ:NTAP) today announced that Leonard Iventosch, vice president, Global Channels, was named a 2008 Channel Chief by CMP Channel's CRN. Channel Chiefs are recognized as influential executives who consistently defend, promote, and execute effective channel partner programs and strategies. Iventosch joined NetApp in June 2000 and since that time has driven the creation of an industry-leading VIP (Very Important Partner) Program complementary to the company's direct sales force.

"At NetApp we believe in long-term partner relationships based on trust and integrity, and to be recognized for our commitment to our partner community is a great honor," said Iventosch. "By investing in our channel program and, more importantly, in our partners, we are creating additional opportunities for our most trusted partners to effectively be more engaged with customers to solve their data center needs."

This is the sixth consecutive year that CRN developed the Channel Chief list. Top Channel Chiefs were chosen based on criteria including policy and program innovations made during the past year, the amount of revenue their company generates through partners, their willingness to speak out publicly on behalf of the channel, and the number of years they have dedicated to channel activities.

"Successful channel programs and strategies help fuel the solution provider ecosystem, and each of this year's Channel Chiefs should be applauded for building and advocating the most successful of those programs and strategies," said Dan Dignam, vice president and publisher of CMP Channel.
