NetApp to Drive Discussion Around Simplified Data Management at Microsoft Tech Ed 2007

Session:

NetApp StoreVault™ product marketing manager Drew Meyer will lead a session entitled "An Alphabet Soup of Storage Trends for SMBs." Meyer will discuss how IT professionals in companies with fewer than 500 employees face networked storage and data management problems that resemble those of their large-business counterparts. He will explore how these smaller businesses are beginning to use enterprise storage strategies and tactics, especially for data protection. This session will focus on various data protection strategies and approaches, including virtualization, the advantages of Fibre Channel and IP SAN in different business environments, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, continuous data protection (CDP), data replication, and taking advantage of Snapshot™ technology.
