Network Appliance, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTAP) will make a splash at Symantec Vision 2006 in San Francisco May 8-10 with speaking opportunities, exclusive customer activities, and live product demonstrations-all in an effort to showcase and illustrate the value and powerful capabilities provided by its suite of world-class disk-to-disk (D2D) data protection solutions, as well as the unique benefits customers can realize through its collaboration with Symantec.

NetApp will focus on how advanced D2D solutions with Symantec® NetBackup™ software can be used to back up multivendor storage environments to NetApp® storage systems-helping customers simplify management, eliminate redundant data, and maximize data access.

NetApp will also highlight easy-to-manage archival and compliance solutions that leverage Symantec Enterprise Vault software and help users better manage e-mail and file growth, increase e-mail performance, reduce downtime, satisfy records retention regulations, and minimize electronic document discovery costs.

NetApp will conduct hands-on demonstrations of its advanced D2D backup, archival, and security solutions. NetApp representatives will be on hand to discuss the business benefits and technical details of the various solutions.

Additionally, NetApp will present at the following breakout sessions:
