Cloverleaf and NetApp Complete Interoperability Testing
Woodbury, NY - January 17, 2006 --
Cloverleaf Communications, the first company to deliver Quality of
Service (QoS) for heterogeneous storage networks and Network
Appliance, the leader in advanced networked storage solutions,
today announced the completion of interoperability testing between
Cloverleaf's Intelligent Storage Networking™ (iSN™)
System and the NetApp® FAS200, FAS3000, and FAS900 unified
storage systems supporting NAS, SAN, and iSCSI.
NetApp and Cloverleaf interoperability builds
on the success the two companies are having satisfying customers'
needs throughout the storage network. In both SAN and NAS
configurations, end users can expand beyond their current install
base and leverage the benefits of both NetApp storage solutions and
Cloverleaf's iSN systems. Mutual customers can now centrally manage
heterogeneous, multi-tier vendor agnostic storage networks;
centrally manage, monitor and consolidate capacity, bandwidth and
services; and provide any-to-any data migration and
replication.
"The completion of interoperability testing is
an important milestone for our two companies' products," said
Joseph Klein, COO and co-founder of Cloverleaf. "The NetApp
RAID-DP™ storage architecture combined with Cloverleaf's iSN
intelligence and Quality of Service (QoS) enables end users to
experience non-disruptive advanced storage solutions and amplifies
visibility and configurability at any level - file, LUN, and
volume."
"The interoperability between both NetApp and
Cloverleaf provides yet another layer of simplicity, functionality
and value that customers demand," said Patrick Rogers, vice
president of Partner Marketing at Network Appliance. "Cloverleaf
and the NetApp enterprise storage architecture are well aligned,
enabling customers to scale their data centers and storage
infrastructures to match dynamic changes in their business."
