Maranti Joins Network Appliance™ Partner Program to Deliver Tiered Disaster Recovery and Data Migration Solutions

San Jose, Calif. - March 14, 2005 - Maranti, Inc., a leading provider of intelligent storage infrastructure solutions, today announced it has joined the NetApp Partner Program. As part of this program, Maranti will work with NetApp to offer customers scalable storage solutions to help them manage complex data storage environments that lower the total cost of ownership (TCO).

Additionally, the Maranti CoreSTOR family of network storage controllers is being qualified with NetApp unified storage systems. Certification will help customers receive advanced storage services such as block-level mirroring, Snapshot™ technology and replication for data protection and business continuance, and virtualization for storage consolidation. These storage services will provide for a highly scalable storage network infrastructure benefiting from improved performance and high availability.
