FAS250 unified storage system has won Australian Technology &
Business Magazine's coveted 'Editor's Choice' award.
In a detailed comparison between four leading network-attached
storage (NAS) offerings reviewed by the Royal Melbourne Institute
of Technology's independent RMIT Test Labs, the NetApp FAS250
outscored its rivals across the four categories of
Interoperability, Future-proofing, ROI, and Service.
In determining its Editor's Choice, Australian Technology &
Business Magazine evaluated the four offerings against the
requirements of a typical company facing a "rapid expansion in its
email and other storage needs," and requiring "1TB of total storage
in one or two units, with gigabit Ethernet or fibre channel
connections." Other areas of importance considered included ease of
system management, ease of integration with other systems, design
for maximum uptime, and performance.
