Englewood, Colo. - July 14, 2003 -- The North American Computer Products group of Arrow Electronics, Inc. [NYSE: ARW] announced today that Network Appliance, Inc. [NASDAQ: NTAP] selected Arrow to be a primary channel partner for the distribution of enterprise storage solutions in North America.

Network Appliance (NetApp) launched its new, two-tiered channel strategy earlier today, to build and expand its enterprise storage sales with the value-added reseller community. By engaging with Arrow, NetApp resellers can gain additional support through Arrow's dedicated sales and focused marketing services. NetApp, currently, has authorized gold and platinum resellers who will continue selling products and services for storage consolidation, business continuance, and high-performance data center operations and distributed enterprise applications.

Arrow's Universal Enterprise Storage Labs will be equipped with Network Appliance's range of entry-level to high-performance unified enterprise storage solutions.

The labs are a key differentiator for Arrow and Arrow's customers. Located in Atlanta and Minneapolis with remote access from any location in North America via Arrow's Lab Bridge tool, these fully equipped labs are used by Arrow's resellers for training, testing, solution design, and demonstrations. Equipped with enterprise storage hardware and software from all of Arrow's storage suppliers and staffed by a team of storage engineers, Arrow resellers leverage millions of dollars in equipment and support services to increase their own storage sales.
