NetApp Founder and Executive Vice President Dave Hitz to Deliver Keynote Address at SNW Spring 2009

Sunnyvale, Calif. – March 25, 2009 – NetApp (NASDAQ: NTAP) Founder and Executive Vice President, and author of “How to Castrate a Bull,” Dave Hitz will deliver a keynote presentation at SNW Spring 2009 titled “Finding IT Certainty in Uncertain Times.” NetApp, a gold-level sponsor of the event, will also have executives and technical experts presenting on topics such as storage efficiency, data deduplication, Ethernet storage, and virtualization. SNW Spring 2009 takes place April 6–9, 2009, in Orlando, Florida.

NetApp will also participate in the Solid State Storage (SSS) Summit taking place during SNW Spring on Wednesday, April 8. The SSS Summit will feature presentations from an industry analyst and a NetApp customer using solid-state storage, a joint demonstration from NetApp and NetApp partner Texas Memory Systems, and a SNIA Solid State Storage Initiative (SSSI) panel on the state of the industry, featuring Val Bercovici, NetApp Office of the CTO.
