Upgrade Platform: FAS8020

The N6210 (also known as FAS3210, V3210, FAS3210A, V3210A, FAS3240A) is part of IBM’s N series of storage controllers designed to satisfy the needs of enterprise-class organizations in terms of data throughput, accessibility and availability. Configurable as a gateway, the N6210 is available as a single or dual-node unit.

Overview

The N6210 is available as the C10, which is a single-node unit, or the C20 which is an active/active dual-node base unit with clustered failover protection. The series is upgradable to the N6240 line, featuring E11 and E12 units, both of which offer expandable PCIe slots (which are not available with the C-series of controllers in the family).
