technology collaboration with SAP AG and the value NetApp brings to
the data centre with key SAP compliance and certification. As a
charter member of the SAP Enterprise Services Community Program,
NetApp remains dedicated and focused on building out a single
unified storage platform in support of the SAP NetWeaver platform.
Today NetApp became one of the first storage vendors to complete
compliance tests for Adaptive Computing in a Microsoft environment.
The compliance tests, delivered through NetApp IP SAN storage
solutions, were achieved using a NetApp developed storage plug-in.
Additionally, NetApp Data ONTAP 7G software is now Certified for
SAP NetWeaver, supporting the WebDav for SAP Data Archiving
interface, which empowers customers to archive data directly using
the XML-based archiving service from SAP solutions. Customers can
now benefit from a single NetApp storage architecture that supports
the adaptive computing capabilities and XML-based archiving service
of the SAP NetWeaver platform.
As a result of the unique integration found in Data ONTAP 7G, the
rich data management capabilities found in the NetApp Manageability
Software family, and powerful core NetApp technologies like FlexVol
and FlexClone, customers can maximise their existing NetApp storage
investment and better manage, protect, and scale their
infrastructure.
