NetApp appoints new VP Finance EMEA
Fritz Meijaard appointed as of May 1
NetApp today announced that Fritz Meijaard
has been appointed to the position of Vice President Finance EMEA.
In his new role, Meijaard will be responsible for NetApp's
financial position in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Meijaard
joins the executive management team as CFO for the EMEA region.
Meijaard has also been appointed General Manager of NetApp's EMEA
head offices in Schiphol-Rijk, the Netherlands.

Meijaard will be responsible for the further
development of financial models to support business decisions, for
the development of a finance shared services strategy and for the
optimization of all financial reporting. As the Director of the
head offices in Schiphol-Rijk, Meijaard will also function as the
first point of contact for the works council.
Meijaard joins NetApp from Cisco Systems in
Amsterdam, where he was a member of the Board of Directors. He
worked for Cisco for the past eleven years, most recently as
Finance Director, Emerging Markets.
