NetApp Expands New Zealand Team and Reaffirms Commitment to Local Team

New Auckland office helps meet customer needs nation-wide

AUCKLAND, New Zealand.- July 7, 2010 - NetApp has added three new hires to its New Zealand team, and opened an office in Auckland.

Returning to New Zealand is Grant Woodbury, who has been appointed to the new role of New Zealand Channel Development Manager. Woodbury is responsible for partner development and engagement across the country.

With nearly 15 years' experience in technical roles, Woodbury was previously a Pre-Sales Engineer with NetApp in New Zealand from 2001 to 2006 and has spent the last five years in Sydney as a Technical Partner Advisor with the company.

Other additions to the team are Account Manager, Luke McGoldrick and Pre-Sales Engineer, Alex Johnson, who will both be based out of the team's Auckland office. Luke joins NetApp with 10 years' experience in IT business development across ANZ with global IT vendors such as Lenovo, Apple, and Dell.

Alex has over 20 years technical IT experience in areas such as storage, virtualization and the cloud, and is a certified VMware sales professional.

The new Auckland hires join existing Wellington-based members of the NetApp New Zealand team, James Kennedy Moffat and Marc Cramer.
