NetApp give away plants on Earth Day to share concern and care on Greenhouse effect issue
INDONESIA - April 19, 2011 -
Today, NetApp Indonesia carry out its CSR (Corporate Social
Responsibility) activity, called "Go Green Go", to commemorate the
upcoming Earth Day by giving away 3.000 Sansevieria
trifasciata plants to all tenants of Ariobimo Building, which
is where NetApp's office reside.
The ceremony took place at 4th floor,
Ariobimo Central Building, where Steven Law, NetApp Country Manager
for Indonesia and Phillipines, symbolically give Sansevieria
trifasciata plants to Ms. Dyah Setyana Noor, General Manager
of HQ Global Workplaces, and Mr. Haryono, Building Manager of PT.
Aston Inti Makmur. Both companies are part of Ariobimo building
management.
This program is part of NetApp's continuous
commitment to preserve the environment as a sustainable place to
live and work. Sansevieria trifasciata is known as an
ornamental plant with high contribution on releasing oxygen into
the air and absorbs carbon-dioxide from the air. It also grow well
indoor.
NetApp invites everyone to take action to
support and preserve the environment for future generations. And
hopefully, this small step could inspire many of us to do the
same.
