NetApp Appoints Indonesian to Lead Vietnam and Philippines
Indonesia - July 06,
2009 - NetApp (NASDAQ: NTAP) announced today the
appointment of Steven Law, who is currently NetApp Country Manager
for Indonesia, to lead Vietnam and Philippines.
Steven Law, who will report directly to
Suresh Nair, Managing Director NetApp ASEAN, will be responsible
to lead NetApp sales, services, and marketing aspects in Indonesia,
Vietnam, and Philippines.
Steven Law has more than 12 years of
experience in managing companies' sales and channel activities.
Steven joined NetApp in 2005. During his leadership in NetApp
Indonesia, Steven has received numerous awards such as The Most
Dependable Performer ASEAN 2006, Asia Pacific Sales Of the year
2007, The Best NetApp ASEAN Team for Indonesia 2007, and The first
local deployment of storage heterogeneous replication in Asia
Pacific 2007.
Steven has also succeeded in turning NetApp
Indonesia as the fastest growing storage vendor in Indonesia. Back
with strong credentials and experience, Steven had been tasked to
lead both Vietnam and Philippines to new heights.
"As an Indonesian, I'm proud to have the
opportunity to lead other countries. In the other hand, I also feel
challenged with the position I have been entrusted with. So, I will
give my best for NetApp Indonesia, Vietnam, and Philippines," says
Steven Law.
Being the leader in storage market is not a
simple task. The competition between vendors is getting more
intense, it's not only happening in Indonesia, but also in Vietnam
and Philippines. Vietnam storage market predicted to grow more than
40% year over year, while Philippines storage market will grow
about 30% year over year.

vendors. The increasing number of customers, who trusted NetApp to
solve their storage and data management problems, especially when
they deal with resource efficiency such as cost and infrastructure,

Steven Law started his professional career in
1999 as a channel manager in a Toshiba laptop distribution company.
In 2002, Steven joined APC as the Enterprise Sales Manager. While
in APC, Steven and his team have succeed in making Indonesia as the
best country in ASEAN for InfraStruXure® solution and business
